Obituary for Julieta Lopez
Julieta “Julie” Lopez was born April 13,1944 to parents Julia and Jesus Gomez in her beloved Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosi. In the 1950’s her family established their permanent roots in San Jose, CA. There she met her husband Antonio, while picking strawberries and married 1968 and moved to Burlingame, CA.

As the family grew, they returned to San Jose to raise their children. Julie worked for several food packing companies and canneries, one of which she fought hard to become one of the first women welder mechanics.

Julie was a woman of strong faith, and was involved in the women's church group, and served as a Eucharist Minister for her parish Most Holy Trinity. In the late 80’s, the family moved to Vacaville, CA where she filled her life with many adventures. Julie loved big family gatherings, music,” Happy Hour” with her comadres, and adored her fur baby of 21 years Sophia.

On April 29, 2022, Julie peacefully went home to the Lord. She is survived by her husband Antonio, children; Tony, Sara, and Patricia, grandchildren; Julian and Ava, sons-in-law; Frank and John. Julie loved life and all her family and friends dearly.
