She spent her early years in Rigby Idaho and Billings Montana. She attended BYU and played the cello in the orchestra there. She was an Air Force officer's wife and lived with her family all over the world. She was a talented artist and created many wonderful paintings in oil and water color. Vonnie and Richard spent their retirement years in Honolulu, Hawaii, Saratoga, and San Jose where they were avid golfers. She has lived in Vacaville for four years and has made many friends with whom she so enjoyed playing bridge. She squeezed every ounce of life out of what she had and made the best of it. She kept her wit and she kept her wits about her until the very end. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed. Funeral services will be at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., at 2 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 12
