Yasue Williams was born in Tokyo Japan to Seizo and Ine Hayakawa. She worked for the American Army –Air Force Post Exchange in Tachikawa, Japan. There she met her husband of sixty-two years, Johnnie L. Williams, who was stationed there. As a homemaker, she supported him through his 26 year military career. They had three children, Monwilla, Denise and Johnnie Jr. Yasue was the most loving wife, mother and friend. After retirement from the Air Force, Johnnie was called to preach and on June 13, 1975 he was appointed pastor of Curry Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Vacaville. Again, Yasue supported him in his ministry for 34 years until he retired in 2009. She was known for her great cooking, humor and hospitality.
