Obituary for Terri Bland
Terri Lynn Bland, age 67, passed away on Oct. 1, 2021.

She was a 1972 graduate of El Dorado High School in Placerville. Terri met Martin Scott Bland during her senior year of high school and they got married later that same year. The couple soon moved to their first home in Vacaville while Martin was stationed at Travis Air Force Base.

Terri studied floral design and worked at flower shops in Placerville and Vallejo. She also worked at Travis Air Force Base as an administrative assistant.

Her hobbies included crafting, sewing and reading. Her crafting hobby eventually turned into a business, designing, making and selling beautiful items at local craft fairs.

She loved spending time with her granddaughters from attending their sporting events and musical performances to taking them on many camping adventures.

She is survived by her husband, Martin; their daughter, Shari Papadopoulos of Suisun; two granddaughters, Kylie and Hayden; brother, Lyle Herman; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Darlene Herman.

Memorial service will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon. A reception will follow.
