Suzie Q Connie Sue Sims (Hish) was born to Goldie and Fred Sims on April 4, 1948 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Connie grew up in, graduated and married in her home town. She married Franklin Phillip Hish. She moved to Decatur, Illinois when she was pregnant with her first daughter Michelle Nicole AKA Nicky Hish in 1970. She later moved to West Hartford Connecticut in 1982 and had her second miracle daughter Heather Ashley Hish in 1986. She moved to Mesa Arizona in 1987 and had her third miracle baby Jami Ashley Hish in 1988. In April of 1989 she moved on the Vacaville, CA. She was present for all three of her daughters weddings. She worked at Buttercup Pantry from 1991-1998 then moved on to Select Comfort selling the sleep number beds. She always meet her goals and usually exceeded them. Our mom had a strong faith starting from 1975 when her first daughter took her and her husband to Sunday school at a Baptist church in Hutchinson. Her faith grew from there when she was witnessed to come to a bible fellowship with The Way Ministry founded by Dr Victor Paul Wierwille founded in New Knoxville, Ohio. Her love for God only grew bigger and never stopped growing. We started going to the Fathers House and immediately fell in love. She went off and on the first couple of years but went every Sunday over the her last 4 years. Pastor Bob Brigham was always there to pray for her over the few years and she always had a kind word for him. She asked for him when she was growing tired and ask for him in her final days. Mom always had a kind smile for everyone. She thought of others before anyone else. If she saw a need she found a way to fulfill that need. Our loving mom was survived by her sister Debbie Lamberth, Frank Sims and her deceased brother Calvin Gene Sims. Connie is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Danielle, Steven, Aiden and Kaylieann. She was survived by her extended family Sherrie, Peggy, Kathy, The Glover Family and multiple families in Kansas. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her and she wanted everyone to know about God. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is our guardian angel now. She passed July 14, 2014 between 0610-0645 hours.
