Obituary for Steven Frank Haynie
Born June 9, 1950 and peacefully passed on January 19, 2014. Steven is survived by his wife, Mary F. Haynie, of Fairfield, CA, his father, Frank A. Haynie and stepmother, Nancy Haynie of Carson City, NV, and by his mother, Jean Pugh of Acampo, CA. Also surviving are his sister Kathleen Long of Stockton, CA, twin sister Sandy Coulter of Roseville, CA, and brother Mark Haynie of San Francisco, CA. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel O’Brien Haynie of Stockton, CA, and survived by son Steven F. Haynie, Jr. of Newcastle, WY, and daughter Amanda Smith of Douglas,WY, and by grandchildren Daniel, Jr., Nicholas, Jenna, Jessica, Ethan and Chance. Steven served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. In addition to everyone mentioned above, Steven loved the San Francisco 49ers and his dog, Freeway. He was a railroad buff and also did beautiful woodworking and furniture refinishing. He will be missed by all. Steven’s family wishes to thank Vitas Innovative Hospice Care for their care and support. Memorial Services to be held on January 28, 2014, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
