Obituary for Shirley M. Nelson
Our beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on March 30, at age 84. Shirley loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by her four children; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A loving “PBL White light” would be said to each and every loved one she said goodbye to as they left her home. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Stacy and her husband Bob, Teresa Blencowe and husband Jim, Coni Papin, and son David Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Nelson. She worked for Creed and Sirlin's Photographer Studios as a retoucher for many years. Shirley was an accomplished artist and loved music, dancing and fishing. A celebration of life was held on April 6, where family and friends gathered to remember all the loving memories we share. We would like to thank Yolo County Hospice for the loving care they gave her during her last month
