Sherry Christ Pollock (Traylor) passed away peacefully in Vacaville, Ca on November 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Sherry was born in Porter, New York, on January 21, 1954, to Thomas and Sadie Traylor. Her family moved to Fairfield when she was 1 year old where she grew up and attended Fairfield High School- Class of 1972. Shortly after, she had two daughters and began her lifelong career as a realtor. She lovingly involved herself in whatever her girls were doing but especially loved being their Girl Scout troop leader.
Sherry also loved being a grandmother and always tried to attend and celebrate whatever her grandchildren were involved in. She especially loved birthdays. Throughout her life, Sherry enjoyed music, dancing & volunteering. She volunteered at Sky Lakes Hospital, taught Sunday school at Klamath Falls Christian Center and was a member of the North Side Garden Club in Klamath Falls.
Sherry will be remembered for her faith in the Lord, love of life and spreading joy to everyone she knew. If she could be described by one word, it would be ‘Sunshine’. She will always be remembered for her unwavering strength and persistent faith.
Sherry is survived by her daughter Jill (Mike) Hendrix, daughter Kari Heidrick; grandchildren Hillary Hendrix, Michael (Emma) Hendrix, Matthew Hendrix and his fiancé Emily Gigliotti, Hannah King and Carson King; great grandchildren Maddex Lorencillo, Teagan and Bodie Hendrix; and siblings Tommy Traylor, Brian Traylor, Karen Walden and Cheryl Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son in-law, Greg Heidrick and her brothers Rocky Traylor, Randy Traylor and Kip Traylor.
Graveside service will be held January 21, 2024, 11 Am, at Silveyville Cemetery District, 800 South First Street, Dixon CA 95620 and celebration of life, 12 PM, at the Olde Vet’s Hall, 231 North First Street, Dixon, CA 95620. In honor of Sherry her family is requesting that you please wear colorful clothing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sherry’s name to “Treasures” Klamathhospice.org or to Northbay.org.
