Obituary for Sharon Jean Meitrott (Aiello)
Sharon Jean Meitrott, age 59, of Rio Vista, California, peacefully entered her final rest at her home on Friday, November 9, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she spent her early childhood in Willingboro, a township located in New Jersey. In 1968 the family moved to California and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. The daughter of the late Walter John Meitrott and Joyce Bailey, she was a 1971 graduate of Carlmont High School in Belmont, California. She attended the College of San Mateo and ultimately entered into a successful career in automotive finance for 35 years. Sharon worked five years at Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista. Upon leaving the automotive business, she attended the College of Marin and was actively pursuing a second career in court reporting when she became ill. Sharon is survived by her husband, Nick Aiello, siblings Sandy Meitrott (Tyler), Kristine Nixon, and Jeff Meitrott; brother-in-law Ray Tyler, sister-in-law Daisy Meitrott; nephew Cody Meitrott, and niece Morgan Meitrott. Her extended family also included her mother-in-law, Victoria Aiello, Gregory and Ashley Aiello, Michael and Shannon Aiello and six grandchildren.

Service:
A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church,230 Sacramento Street, Rio Vista on Tuesday, November 20, at 11:30 am. Immediately following, the reception will be held at The Point Restaurant, located at 120 Marina Drive, Rio Vista. Her family invites all who loved her to join them as they celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers please send contributions in Sharon's honor to UCSF Breast Cancer Center, 1600 Divisadero Street, Box 1710, San Francisco, CA 94143-1710.
