Obituary for Ronald Foster
Ron Foster passed away in his Vacaville home this past summer. Ron was born to Stan and Pearl Foster in 1949 in San Francisco, CA. Being of the military tradition, his family moved multiple times during his childhood. Most of his fondest memories of his youth were of Smyma, Tennessee. After high school, Ron joined the Army and worked as a Radar Technician. His enitre post-military career was with the SBC Telephone Company. In 1981, Ron married Rogie Worthington. They had two sons; Matthew and Alex. Ron is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rogie; sons, Matt and AJ; father, Stan Foster Sr.; brother, Stan Jr. and sister, Debbie as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl, as well as his brother, Steve. A memorial service will be held to honor Ron's life on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m., at Valley Church, 5063 Maple Road in Vacaville. Pastor Raleigh Galgan will officiate.
