Obituary for Roger W. Estelle

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Weems Estelle, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Roger lived life on his own terms, defined by his individualism, passion, and skill for playing pool. A generous heart, always willing to lend a hand, he loved the journey, earning him the nickname Road Warrior. His passion for pool took him across the country, playing in tournaments in every state, competing against some of the best players in the world.

Roger is survived by his siblings Peter Estelle (Leslie), Ted Estelle (Cathy), nieces and nephews Alyson, Preston, William, and Hanna, and closest friend Billy Hines (Tonya). He was preceded in death by his parents, Weems and Alice Estelle, and sister Suzan Estelle Brice.

While he lost his hard-fought battle with cancer, Roger will be remembered as a true survivor.

Funeral service on March 6, 12:30 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, followed by a reception.
