Obituary for Robert "Rob" Joe Crawley Jr.
Robert "Rob" Crawley passed gently into the night to be with the angels after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born to parents Robert and Kathy Crawley in San Jose, Ca. They moved to Loleta, Ca. where he grew up.
After graduating from High School, he joined the Navy where he served 4 years during the Vietnam War. He served on the USS Tripoli, the USS Benicia, and the USS Tulare. After leaving the Navy, married wife of 47 years Janet. In 1974, he re-entered the military in the Army National Guard in Eureka, Ca. where he served during Desert Storm. Later, he was transferred to Fairfield, Ca. and remained there until he retired. He served out his military duty with pride and honor.
Rob He is survived by his wife Janet; son Charles Crawley and fiancee Tara DaMassa; his grandchildren Colton and Connor Crawley; his sister Sharon McCarty; and his twin brother Richard Crawley. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Kathy Crawley; his brother Jeff Crawley; his grandparents, and his longtime friend and comrade Mike Tremble.
There will be full military honors at the Sacramento National Cemetery.
