Obituary for Robert (Bob) H. Ciavarelli

We have lost our dear Bob (Bobby). He was born in Denver Colorado to Lillian and Mario Ciavarelli. The Ciavarelli family moved to Vacaville when Bob was in 5th grade. He loved sports and played every sport Vacaville High School offered, football, basketball, baseball and track. He gradusted from Vacaville High School in 1956, and from Napa Community College in 1958
He married his high school sweetheart Willie Chappell in June 1960. They were married 55 years.
Through the years Bob worked for the city of Vacaville in many areas and jobs. He was a police officer for Vacaville, and later worked in the public works department. Bob was always interested in the youth of Vacaville and helped them by coaching Pop Warner football. Always drawn to the protection of the young, after he retired from the city of Vacaville, he worked part-time at Foxboro School.
He is survived by his wife Willie and one sister Frances Gentry. He was predeceased in death by his sister Betty Forte Valentin. He also leaves many darling nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Bob was well known and loved by everyone who knew him. We will miss him dearly. Our thanks to all the angels at Fairfield Acute Rehab and the Hospice Angels.
