Obituary for Robert Anthony Chau
Robert Chau, 24, was taken from us too young. Born in Vallejo January 31, 1990, he passed away in Vacaville on March 23rd. Robert attended Vacaville Christian School through 8th grade and went on to graduate from Vacaville High School in 2007. He worked at Carpets and More in Vacaville for 8 years. Robert had a kind and loving heart and a love for adventure and the outdoors. Robert was so very proud of earning the rank of Eagle Scout in Boyscouts, Troop #488. He was also a nationally ranked Speed Rock Climber, an outdoor enthusiast, a cyclist and into extreme sports. He is survived by father and step-mother, Tung and Sabrina Chau; mother and step-father Jennifer and Dan Tydingco; brothers, Michael and Steven Chau; step-brothers, Easton Hunter, “Big Mike” Tydingco, Danny Tydingco; step-sisters, Susan Hunter, Sierra Forester and Kasey Tydingco; grandparents, Diane Chau and Kristy Wells; step-grandmother Jesusa Tydingco; great-grandparents, Marjorie White and Florence Wells; aunts and uncles, Mai Chau (Eddie Chiu), Lan Chau (Chris Ralston), Liz Wells, Tarra Seedorf, Thad Morris; cousins, Chris, Kristina, Jon, Ben, Sophie, Vivian and Kayleigh and many great-aunts, great-uncles and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Barry Wells. His family all loved him very much and they will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Visitation will be held at McCune Garden Chapel, Tuesday, April 1, 5-8pm with funeral service at The Father’s House, 10am on Wednesday, April 2, followed by interment at Vacaville-Elmira cemetery. Brother Raymond Courtemanche will officiate.
