Obituary for Richard Schafer
Mr. Richard Schafer, 86, of Vacaville passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Kaiser in Vacaville after a long illness. He was born in Hastings, Neb. on Sept. 4, 1925. Richard worked at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and was a Mechanical Design Engineer for 20. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and love ballroom dancing. Richard is survived by his sister, Dorothy Campbell; sister-in-law, Pat Schafer, daughter and son-in-law, Jeannine and Dennis Quilici; 2 grandchildren, Joseph Quilici and Michael Quilici; 2 great-grandchildren, Justin Quilici and Vincent Quilici.

Service:
A service with friends and family officiating will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel.
