Obituary for Richard M. Camaren (Dick)
Richard M. Camaren (Dick) of Davis passed away in Davis surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, Sept. 25. Camaren was born Nov. 15, 1921 in Bakersfield, Calif. He was a well known farmer in the Yolo County area in the 40’s through the 70’s. Dick was owner of Camaren Tomato Harvesting Company. Of late, he was a land developer. He served four years in the Army Air Corps in WWII. Camaren is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce Darling Camaren; sons, Ronald of Dixon and Mark of Corning; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gregg and Richard (Rick). A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m., at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville. Interment will follow at Vacaville Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Rd. A celebration of life will follow at the Moose Lodge, 6585 Gibson Canyon Rd., Vacaville.
