Obituary for Raymond J. Puff
Raymond Jack ("Ray") Puff passed away in Vacaville, California, on Saturday, November 26. He was 87. Raymond is survived by his son Michael Puff, California; son Stephen Puff and grandsons Ezekiel and Dana, Maine; granddaughter Victoria Puff, Massachusetts; son Gregory Seiffert and grandchildren William, Austin, and Gracelyn, Massachusetts; daughter Angel Lee, granddaughters Jacqueline and Madison, and great granddaughter Leilani Rae, Arizona.

Born May 28, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, Ray was a foundling informally adopted as an infant by Raymond Puff and Rebecca Alta Puff. He enlisted in the United States Air Force at age 16. For 26 years, he specialized in Aircraft Maintenance. Raymond served in both Korea and Vietnam, and retired in 1975 with the Rank of Master Sergeant. In Vietnam, he received the Outstanding Unit Award with silver V for valor.

Raymond really loved flying and had a pilot's license to fly small, personal aircraft. He was a man of great curiosity and unmatched wit--a friend to all. He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

In celebration of Raymond's life, a memorial will be held at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville, CA, (707) 514-3588 on Tuesday, December 6 at 12 PM. At 2:30 PM, burial with honors is scheduled at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA (9 miles from Vacaville).

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Raymond's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the VFW Post, 549 Merchant Street, Vacaville, CA. (707) 447-6354
