Obituary for Raymond Carlos Woodcock
Raymond Carlos Woodcock passed away on January 8, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Woodcock, and is survived by his son, Michael Woodcock, daughter-in-law, Sherry Woodcock, grandson Eric Woodcock, granddaughters Mara Grow and Brittany Talkin, their partners, and great-grandsons Oliver and Alfie Talkin.
Right up until the day before he died he was watching football and enjoying life. For the past few months he was cared for by North Bay Hospice, truly angels on earth. We are so very thankful for their care and loving guidance. He was able to visit with all of his grandkids and family at Thanksgiving, and he shared stories from his life. It was a beautiful day.
He spent his 40-year career with PG&E as an electrician and supervisor, was gifted with knowing how things work, and was always our go-to person for help with fixing things. It made him very happy to help people whenever he could. We were blessed to have had him as a father and grandfather, and many were blessed to call him their friend. He will be missed at Wren's Coffee shop in Vacaville, and the volunteer firefighters will miss him at the Buck Stew next month. We know that he lives on in all of our hearts.
There will be a celebration of life for him at Unity of the Valley Spiritual Center in Vacaville on Sunday, January 28th, at 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.
