Obituary for Ramiro Ramirez
Ramiro Ramirez passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020. Surrounded by his loving family, he surrendered to his extremely courageous battle with cancer. Ramiro was born in Moyahua, Zac., Mexico on April 13, 1958. He married the love of his life, Mary over 34 years ago and resided in Dixon since then. Ramiro is preceded in death by his parents, Margarita and Guadalupe Ramirez, and sister Estela Ramirez.
He was loved very, very much and will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary, and his daughters Carmen, Analissa, and Priscilla. He is also survived by his loving son-in-law, Gerson Perez and grandsons Alexis and Marcelo. He is also survived by his loving brothers, sisters and families: Jose Ramirez (Maria), Leonel Ramirez (Consuelo), Celia Covarrubias (Jose), Mario Ramirez (Leticia), Irma Estrada (Marcos), Juan Ramirez (Maria), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He is also survived by his loving brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and families: Ramiro Cortez (Emette), Juan Cortez (Rosa), Yolanda Cortez, Anna Morales (Antonio), Alicia Valerio (Juan), Alfredo Cortez (Andrea), Mario Cortez, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ramiro worked as a sheet metal technician for Oneto Metal Products in Sacramento for over 28 years. Ramiro loved family gatherings, cooking delicious Mexican food, traveling to Cancun, visiting his hometown of Moyahua, Zac, Mexico, gardening, and camping. Ramiro touched the lives of many family and friends with his warm, kind and extremely big heart, and will be sadly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Monday, February 3, 2020 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Dixon. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 4 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Dixon. Interment will follow at Silveyville Cemetery.
