Obituary for Peter Anthony Ring Sr.
Peter Anthony Ring Sr. passed away from his long battle with Wegener’s disease complicated by COVID at NorthBay Hospital on 17 October 2020 at the age of 57. He was born on 5 April 1963 on Anderson AFB, Guam. He was the second son of Luis Leyson Ring Sr. and Crisanta Relox Ring.
He served two years in the United States Army at Fort Lewis in Washington State as an Infantryman. Upon his separation from the service, he returned to Vacaville where he became a life long resident. He worked at the Travis AFB Commissary and was a store manager at the Goodwill until his health declined.
Peter was an inquisitive individual. He deeply loved God, family and friends. A voracious reader, Peter was not afraid to discuss religion and politics. He liked acquiring collectibles, caring for his pets, appreciating fast cars, pursuing body building, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents and half brothers, Victor Relox Pacania and Wayne Ring.
He is survived by his children Isabella A. Ring, Bailey N. Ring, Sophia C. Ring, Peter A. Ring Jr, and Samantha T. Ring, and stepsons Logan Gomez and Skyler Moore. He also leaves behind his brothers Ira Glenn Ring and wife Rosalyn, Louis Leyson Ring Jr. and wife Carol, and Christopher Nelson Ring Sr. and half siblings Mark Ring Sr., Richard Relox Pacania and wife Emineh, Paul Relox Pacania, Pauline Relox Wells and husband Ronnie, and Mary Relox Smith and husband Karl, stepsister Constance Ring and numerous loving cousins. He was also called Uncle Pete by his 10 surviving nieces and 7 nephews.
His girls Isabella and Bailey Ring wanted everyone to know “he was a loved, appreciated and strong individual. He is missed and always loved.”
