Obituary for Patricia (Pat) Medina Bucedi
Patricia Bucedi Medina passed away on Saturday morning after a valiant battle with cancer. She touched the lives of so many with her love and compassion for others. Patricia was born in Mexico City, Mexico to Pedro Medina and Alma Cisneros. Eldest of 7, she graduated from American School Foundation of Monterrey. When she graduated she spoke 5 languages, Spanish, English, German, French and Norwegian. After graduation she taught English at El Instituto Americano and worked at the US Embassy
in Mexico. She came to the states in the late 70’s with her 1 st husband and became a stay at home mom to her two daughters. She did a little work during this time as a translator. Transcribing medical records from Spanish to English and translating telenovelas from Spanish to English. She moved a lot within the state of California before settling down in Solano county in the mid 90’s where she became a Realtor. She was top producing Realtor her entire career touching the lives of so many families. She had a special bond with her clients and they became friends over the years knowing she would always guide them with her knowledge. She lived for her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren became her pride and joy an there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Patricia is survived by her loving spouse Mark of 17 years; her devoted daughters Christina Flores (Jonathan) of Vacaville, and Lauren Lawson of Vacaville; her three grandchildren Marcos Medina, Amaya Lawson and Catalina Flores; her siblings Rebecca (Larry) Styles, Consuelo (Charlie) Crapotta, Veronica (Albiero) Corrales, Pedro Jefferson (Mayra) Medina, Jacqueline Medina, Luis M. (Renee) Medina; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5-8 pm at McCune Garden Chapel at 212 Main St, Vacaville, CA and funeral service on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 am at St. Joseph Church at 1791 Marshall Rd, Vacaville, CA. Burial to follow at Suisun Fairfield Cemetery.
