Obituary for Patricia Ann Farha
Patricia Farha was many lovely things in life. She is now a myriad of blessings and beautiful memories in all eternity. Born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1934, she was the youngest of 10 siblings. She never seemed to have met a human being, or animal, she didn’t love, or wasn’t loved by. She suffered gracefully when called on by the rigors of life. She responded with great kindness and generosity to the many clubs, organizations, and causes she so dearly believed in. She was a secretary, a homemaker, and later a realtor and school teacher. She was the spouse of an Air Force officer giving her the opportunity to bless others worldwide. Pat was a long-time breast cancer survivor who bonded with, supported, and mentored others who walked that road. She was active in the Vaca Valley Garden Club, the Dixon Red Hat Society, the Young Ladies Institute, the Dixon Women's Improvement Club and St. Peters Church in Dixon. Her passions included sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Pat is survived by son Jim Jr., daughter Cathy (Bill), and grandchildren Billy and Stephen. She was preceded in death by husband Jim Sr.; parents Edward and Agnes Connor; and her siblings. She continues to be loved by family and friends beyond what any words that can be expressed. Visitation will be held at Milton Carpenter funeral home in Dixon Tuesday, July 25th from 4 to 7pm, and mass held at St. Peter's church in Dixon on Wednesday, July 26th at 10:00am. Interment will be in the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Thursday, July 27th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
