Pasquale (Pat) Biello passed from this Earth on August 19, 2025 in Davis, California, USA. Born on August 14, 1943 in Casacalenda, Campobasso, Italy to Rachele (nee Giannetti) and Giuseppantonio, Pasquale had just celebrated his 82nd birthday with his family when he passed. A farmer’s son, immigrant twice over, construction worker, steel worker, first in his family to graduate high school and university, bank manager, contractor, real estate agent, pizza man, baker; Pat was a jack of all trades. His greatest vocations were husband to his beloved wife of 54 years, Addolorata (Dora), father to his children Joseph Anthony, and Rachele, and to his former daughter-in-law Connie Saint, and nonno to the lights of his life, Adelia (Rosebud) and Esmé (Morning Glory). He was the adored little brother of Angela, Maria Loreta, Emma, and Matilda. He was brother to their husbands and the “big brother uncle” to all of his nieces and nephews. He was deeply connected to his family which is spread throughout Southern Ontario, Montreal, New Jersey, California, and Molise Italy.
Pat was a man of forgiveness, love, joy, a quick smile, and a desire to learn. As one nephew said of him, “he was always teaching us something new”. He made the world a better place, and taught those who loved him to do the same.
