Obituary for Pamela J. Biesenthal
Pamela was born in Welland, Ontario on Nov. 15, 1944 and moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario where she grew up with her younger brother, Don.
Pamela left Niagara Falls and married her high School sweetheart, Ronald Biesenthal in Hawaii on March 1, 1968.
Pam lived in Hawaii while her husband was serving the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
After the war was over Pamela and her husband Ronald moved to Vallejo, California where they would start their family and had one son, Jeff Biesenthal.
Pamela completed nursing school and became an emergency room nurse at Vallejo General Hospital (now Sutter Solano Hospital). Pam, Ron and her son moved to Suisun City, California.
Pamela worked as an emergency room nurse for 30 years. She loved her job and spent a lifetime helping as many people as she could. Pamela was also a member of the SART team as well as an advice nurse. Not to mention team nurse for her sons hockey team. No matter how hard she worked she always made time for her family.
Growing up in Canada Pam was a huge hockey fan. Her favorite team was the Toronto Maple Leafs.
She loved to knit and would make sweaters and blankets for her friends and family. Pam was also a talented painter and loved spending time with her friends at a painting club. Pamela loved the sport of curling and was president of the Wine Club Curling team. Pam loved to travel and visited places all around the world. She was also just as happy spending time in the woods camping with her family. Skiing, ice skating and wine tasting were other things Pam enjoyed.
Pamela Biesenthal was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Biesenthal; son, Jeff Biesenthal and his wife, Tami; brother, Donald Price and his wife, Heather; as well as her two grandsons, Jakson and Jakob.
