Obituary for Mildred L. Everett
Mildred L. Everett of Dixon passed away in her home in Dixon on Feb. 5. Mildred was born in Lima, Ohio on Nov. 1, 1917. Years later she moved to Ventura, Calif., where she met and married Edgar Everett. They had Jim and Jonathon. The Everett family moved to Dixon in 1949, and have lived on the Everett Ranch for 60 years. Mildred is survived by her son, Jonathon Everett; three grandchildren, Jaime (Dena) Everett, Jeff (Lisa) Everett, and Jennifer (Rick) Bartee; great-grandchildren, Jearod, Jill, Tara, Clinton, Jimi, Cheyenne, Nikkita, and a great-great-grandson, London. She was preceded n death by her mother Edith, father Bernie, husband Edgar and son Jim. She enjoyed bowling, and “card day” playing games with the ladies of Dixon, and was a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Milton Carpenter Funeral Home. Pastor Frank Salamone presiding. Burial will follow at Silveyville Cemetery at a later date
