Obituary for Michael J. Goldman
Michael J Goldman, 63 years old, of Martinez died November 22, 2010 of a brain tumor diagnosed in March 2010. Mike enjoyed his time bowling, going to cars shows and puttering around in the garage. Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Goldman, daughter, Brenda Goldman, mom, Pat Goldman, dad, Jim Goldman, sister, Debbie Callen, brother, Stephen Goldman, mother-in-law, Geneva Dunn, father-in-law, Robert Dunn and many other family members and loved ones. He graduated from Albany High School in 1965. He served in the US Navy in Subic Bay, Philippines. He worked 30 years at the Oakland Main Post Office. The viewing will be held 9am-12 noon on Tuesday November 30, 2010 at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville, CA 95688. The funeral will be November 30, 2010 at 12 noon also at McCune Garden Chapel. A short burial service with a naval flag folding ceremony will be held November 30, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road Dixon, CA 95620. A reception will be held after the burial at his Uncle Tom and Aunt Shirleys home at 842 Summerbreeze Dr., Vacaville, CA 95687. Any donations can be made to your preferred charity.
