Obituary for Maxwell "Max" Steven Branchflower
Airman First Class Maxwell Branchflower, at age 25, was found dead in his room at the Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. He was proud of serving his county. He was in the 52 Combat Communications Squadron and a member of the Network Operations Flight Crew serving under Lt. Col. George Tolis, the commander of the squadron.

Max was born in San Mateo, California on June 14, 1996. He spent his young life to adulthood with his family in Hayward, California.

Max attended Mt. Eden High School and graduated in 2014. He attended college to study nursing for two years with a scholarship grant but decided to serve in the U.S. Air Force because of the opportunity to learn at its tech school.

His mother, Felisa Branchflower, gave her full support and was happy he chose the U.S. Air Force.

“Good, no swimming,” she said.
Max made a lasting impression on everyone with his shyness. He was well-mannered, respectful, polite and his big heart was shown through his random acts of kindness for other people.

His friends and family remember Max as a quiet, caring, thoughtful young man who wanted to do good in the world.

Max will forever be loved by those he left behind. He survived by his mother Felisa Branchflower of Elk Grove, CA, Father Ray Branchflower of San Francisco, CA and brother Zachary Branchflower of Elk Grove, CA.

He will be missed by the many friends he touched with his random kindness.

All of those who had the pleasure of knowing Max will miss the joy and life he brought into their lives.

All his family and friends will always be proud of him.
