Obituary for Mary M. Heinle
On January 17, 2021, Mary M. Heinle, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 98, in Vacaville, CA. She was born in Petaluma, CA on October 1, 1922.
Mary worked for Nulaid Egg Plant in San Leandro, CA for 20 years and retired in 1965 from the Clorox Plant in Oakland, CA after 12 years.
Mary loved road trips, baking sweets, tending to her roses and orchids, taking walks, and talking with old friends. She also had many pen pals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Petersen and her daughter, Irene Porter. She is survived by her loving husband, Delbert Heinle; son, Frank Petersen; brother, Alfred Martinoni; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a loving grandmother to Amber Bishop, Autumn Artau, Kelly Musial, Richard Petersen and Christy Petersen. Great grandmother to Madison, Jacey, Raleigh, Everett, Liam, Hudson, Oliver, Lily, River, Ryder, Laila and Sage.
She was “granny” to all and loved her family more than anything. She reveled in celebrating each member and never forgot any event with a loving card.
She will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. Donations may be sent to the Shriners Hospital, Sacramento, CA.
