Obituary for Marvan R. Voshall
Aug. 13, 1923 - July 20, 2014 Marvan R. Voshall, 90 of Vacaville, died July 20. Marvan was born to Charles and Clara (Dayton) Voshall in Adams Co., N. Dakota, Aug. 13, 1923. The eldest of six sons, raised in Lemon, S. Dakota. Marvan, loving husband of Millie Voshall passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, with his wife and son by his side. He is survived by his wife, Millie; son, Russ; one grandchild, Austin of Vacaville; one brother, Clair Voshall of Lemon, S. Dakota; numerous nieces, nephews and inlaws. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Clara and four brothers, Charlie, Vilas, Dale and George Voshall. Marvan was a Navy pilot in WWII. He received numerous awards in education throughout his life. By trade, Marvan worked as an Electrician. He had so much spunk and energy it earned him the nickname, 'Sparkey' by his co-workers. Marvan loved RV'ing with his son, loved to laugh, loved his family and good friends. His life was filled with lots of all of the above. His smile, laughter and friendship will be sorrowly missed. Marvans family wishes to thank hospice and all who helped them through this difficult time. The memorial service will be Friday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at McCune Garden Chapel.
