Obituary for Martha Jane Ropiak
A wonderful and courageous mother, grandmother and sister, Martha Jane Ropiak passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 30 after courageously battling Parkinson’s for over 25 years. She is walking with the Lord. Jane was born in Beckley, West Virginia where she lived through college. She was a resident of Solano County since 1989. She worked for Federal Public Works and retired from the U.S. Dept. of Mine and Safety. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Frank J. Ropiak. Jane will be greatly missed. Her endearing smile touched all who came near. She is survived by four children: Frank J. Ropiak II of Champion, Michigan, Emily Renee Sharma of Plano, Texas, Richard B. Ropiak of Dixon, California and Louis Ropiak of Plano Texas; three grandchildren, Asha Sharma, Neil Sharma and Rheka Sharma;her brother Douglas and his wife Barbara Adams of Rimrock, Arizona.
