Obituary for Martha Ellen Blevins
Martha Ellen Blevins, 86, passed away after an extended illness on Nov. 27, in Vacaville.Martha was born on Feb. 9, 1923 to Mabel and Edward Stoutner in Keota, Iowa. Martha worked at Singer Sewing Machine Company for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed playing bingo at the senior center in Lakeport and also at Paramount House in Vacaville. She is survived by her niece and nephew-in-law, Karen and Bill Seiden; niece, Tina Stoutner; nephews, Jim Stoutner and Mark Stoutner and sister-in-law, Sylvia Stoutner she is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Delbert Bus English who died in 1976 they were married for 36 years and Leo Blevins who died in 1983 after just 3 years of marriage. Marthas parents, Mabel Johnson and Edward Stoutner and brother, Lyall Stoutner also preceded her in death.A graveside service will be held Friday Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., at Upper Lake Cemetery, 780 Clover Valley Rd., Upper Lake, CA 95485 with Mr. Bill Seiden officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of McCune Garden Chapel, 448-6546.
