Obituary for Marilynn Gale (Olson) Allain
Marilynn Gayle (Olson) Allain, 77 of Vacaville passed away on Monday, Jan. 23, after a brief illness in Vacaville. She was born in Kingsburg, Calif. on Aug. 17, 1934. Marilynn worked at Woodside High School in the Audio Visual department for 18 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member if the Saturday Club, Vacaville New Comers, Vacaville Museum, and Kaiser Guild Volunteer. Marilynn loved spending time with her family. She was an avid bridge player and always looked forward to her casino bus trips with her friends. Marilynn loved football, especially watching her husband coach at Sequoia High School in Redwood City for over 30 years. Marilynn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Krislynn and Charles Nalley; sons and daughters-in-law, Jon (Maureen) Allain and Jeff (Christine) Allain; 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, Ryan, Evelynna, and Andy. A Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church. Following services a Celebration of Life will take place at Diamond Grove Club House. Contributions preferred to Sequoia High School Athletic Department, Vacaville Museum, or Saturday Club Foundation.
