Obituary for Mariano 'Marion' Crespillo Azuar
Mariano "Marion" C. AzuarJuly 5, 1924 - Dec.18, 2009
Mariano was born July 5, 1924 in the town of Yolo, Yolo County California to Jose and Carolina (Crespillo) Azuar from Salares Spain .His Family moved to Vacaville in 1929 and he has been a life long resident.He passed away Dec.18, after a long battle with cancer in the home of his beloved sister, Eloise Azuar Trivitt, in Vacaville, Calif.He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He then remained in the reserves and was called to serve during the Korean War. He was a union master carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Several Vacaville restaurants purchased fresh vegetables from his wonderful garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sister Maria Azuar, brothers Manuel Azuar and Angelo Azuar, sisters-in-law Marcella Azuar and Connie Azuar, nephews Dennis Azuarand Jeffrey Azuar, and brother-in-law Tony Billalon.He is survived by his brothers Joe Azuar of Vallejo, sister Vera Billalon of Fairfield, sister Eloise (Gerald) Trivitt of Vacaville, brother Ed (Gina) Azuar of Sacramento, wife Margarets daughter Diana Bagley, son Craig Bagley and many nephews, nieces , cousins and friends.Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22 from 4 -7 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel. Funeral services will be held at McCune Garden Chapel Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. with burial to follow immediately at the Vacaville Elmira Cemetary with full Military Honors.
