Obituary for Manuela 'Nellie' Mary Bingham
Manuela (Nellie) Mary Bingham of Vacaville, CA passed away peacefully in her home on Friday. She is now in the everlasting embrace of our Lord. She was born December 17, 1941 to Victor and Francisca Garcia in Sacramento, CA. She was married in 1970 to Loren Bingham. They lived in Napa, CA where Nellie and Loren began their family. They lived in Napa for 42 years until moving to Vacaville in 2011. Nellie worked at Queen of The Valley Hospital for 28 years until retiring. And also helped in her daughter’s daycare many years later. She loved all the kids. Nellie was known for always sharing her life, home and kindness with everyone. She was a devoted mother whose love of her family always came first. She is survived by her loving husband Loren of 45 years, her daughter Sylvia Wendland and husband John, and her son Loren Bingham Jr. , her grandchildren, Andruw, Christopher, Angelina, Samuel and Hannah. She is also survived by her two brothers Raul and Robert Garcia and her sister Alicia Reyes, also numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her parents and also her two brothers Victor and Richard Garcia and her three sisters Luciana Rodriguez, Paula Corral and Frances Garcia. Services will be held Wednesday March 18 at McCune Garden Chapel with viewing from 5-8 and Rosary at 7pm at 212 Main Street, Vacaville, CA 95688. Mass will be held Thursday March 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, 350 Stinson Ave., Vacaville, CA 95688. With Burial to follow at Sacramento National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
