Obituary for Manuel Varela Ruiz Sr.
Manuel Varela Ruiz, 81, left this world to be with his parents, brothers and sisters at 3:55pm on August 19 2017, with his family by his side. An Army Veteran who served in the 1950’s leaves behind his loving wife Lily Maldonado Ruiz, three sons Manuel Ruiz Jr, Samuel M. Ruiz, Mark A. Ruiz and Daughter Laura M. Reyes. Manuel’s Grandchildren Luis, Breanna, Samuel, Marisa, Rachel, Brittney, Conner, Samuel, Dora, Winter and Autumn, will miss him dearly.
Manuel was a civil servant retiree from Travis Air Force Base. He enjoyed playing guitar and accordion. He also enjoyed drawing but most of all Manuel loved to make people laugh.
Family and friends will be received from 5 pm to 7pm with a Rosary to follow at 7pm on August 31 at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St Vacaville, with a Church service to follow Friday September 1st, 12:30 at St Mary’s Catholic Church 350 Stinson Avenue in Vacaville with Father Berg officiating. Burial will follow church service at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon at 2:30. 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon Ca 95620
