Obituary for Laurence "Larry" James Laurenzi
Larry passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on the evening of April 20, 2016. He was born in San Francisco, California on March 30, 1933. Larry was raised in San Francisco, graduated from Balboa High School and later served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He is survived by his 6 children, Laurie Regua (Ed), Teresa Fandel (Kelly), Linda Lorenz (Bill), Ann Fountain (Pat), Steven Laurenzi (Maureen) and Jennifer Laurenzi. He is also survived by his sister, Jeannie Henneberry (Bill). Larry has been blessed with 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He loved life, always making people laugh with his witty sense of humor and never ending list of jokes. Larry loved to cook, play lotto and was a huge sports fan. He loved his San Francisco Giants. He was a devoted pet owner and loved his 3 cats. To know Larry was to love Larry. His loss will be felt by everyone who knew him. The Celebration of Life Services for Laurence James Laurenzi, (Larry) will be on Tuesday, May 10th at 11:00am at McCune Garden Chapel 212 Main St. Vacaville, CA 95688. May 9th will be the viewing from 4-7pm. Procession to cemetery following the chapel service (9 miles) to Sacramento Valley National Cemetery; 5810 Midway Rd. Dixon, CA 95620. The service and military honors will begin at 1:00pm sharp; Reception to follow.
