Larry fought a tough battle with cancer. He lost that fight on Wednesday, June 27. Larry was born in Wallace, Idaho and was a year old when the family moved to Dixon. Larry worked at Stoven Bros. Packing House, Budweiser Brewery, and Lucky Warehouse where he retired as a Teamster. He was proud to have served as Commodore of the Dixon Boat Club, Governor of the Moose Lodge, Odd Fellows. Preceded in death by his father, James; mother, Katherine 'Tillie'; brother, Dick, and sister, Betty Merrill. Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon 'Shar' Kitchen; brother, Elmer (Judy); sisters, Della (Jerry) Nunes, and Delores (Harry) Nakatani; sisters in law, Mary Kitchen and Linda Cousins; brother in law, Larry (Mila) Cousins; children, Mark Kitchen and Tina Groves; stepchildren, Brent (Janelle) Aday, Mark (Trish) Aday and Chuck Craggs; all of his nephews, nieces and grandchildren. We invite you to his graveside service Tuesday, July 10, at 1 p.m., at Silveyville Cemetery, Dixon, with a celebration of his life at the Dixon Boat Club following the service.
