Obituary for LaDaughn Helen Mathison
LaDaughn Helen Mathison was born in LaHabra, CA to Helen and Clark Thomas. She passed away at home in Vacaville with family and friends by her side at the age of 71.

LaDaughn was a homemaker, a retired Vacaville Unified School District bus driver, and a long time volunteer for Tela Care. She enjoyed sewing, beading, crafting, horse racing, and spending time with family and friends. LaDaughn was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Group, "Vacaville Vamps", for five years.

LaDaughn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Mathison; daughters, Alana Mathison, Alicia (Tim) Adema; and son, Kenneth III (Donna) Mathison. She had five grandchildren, Eric (Sarah), Jillean, Jeremy (Whitney), Ashley and Kenny IV; and 2 brothers, Eldean (Beverley) and Ronnie (Barbara) Thomas.

The viewing will be on Tuesday, May 19 from 5-8 p.m. and the service on Wednesday, May 20 from 10:30-11:30 a.m., both at McCunes Garden Chapel. Interment will be at a later date and private. Please no flowers; the family would appreciate donations in LaDaughn's name to St. Mary's Food Locker, 350 Stinson Ave., Vacaville, CA 95688.
