Obituary for Kelly Pasley
Kelly Pasley, of Vacaville, passed away on Dec. 17, 2010, after a short illness.Kelly was born on Oct. 25, 1924, in Desha county, Ark. He was 86 years old, and served in the United States Navy during WW II.After serving in WW II, he and his brother, Ernie, shared a trucking business for approximately 35 years. Between 1988 and 2005 Kelly and his wife enjoyed traveling in and around the US visiting friends and family.During his life Kellys favorite pastimes were fishing and boating.Kelly is survived by his wife, Joy, of 57 years; his brother, Jim Pasley and wife Gloria; sister-in-law, Billy Flint and Roberta Dykes, his daughter, Sandie Rogers and husband Scott; granddaughter, Shaune Rose; grandson, Joshua Rogers and wife Betsy; and two great-grandchildren, Reese and Brody Rogers.A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at McCune Garden Chapel.
