Beloved daughter of Ralph Henry Rinkel and Violet Marie Froelick Rinkel Kautzmann. Kaye was married to Donald Ray Rogers from 1980 until his death in 2016. Kaye leaves behind her five sisters, Marylyn Kautzmann, Belén Carmichael, Lori Palmer, Cy Rinkel, and Carol Markham.
Kaye was blessed to have many nieces and nephews, Asa Palmer and Kathryn Sutton, Lindsey Kaye and Collin McLeod, Max Perlstein and Emilia Wentworth, Lucas Perlstein, Chloe Markham, Morgan Carmichael, Ali and Joe Hobbs. Kaye loved all the children in her life, and her greatest joy was being a Great Aunt to Ellora and Alice McLeod, Daisy and JR Hobbs, and Aleina Wentworth. She is survived by her loving Aunt Joan Rinkel Weber and family.
Kaye lived in Vacaville, California for 51 years. After the passing of her husband, she lived with her chosen family Jean Basté, a caring friend. She spent many days with her friend Kristopher Summitt at the Summitt Farm antique gatherings. She was a dear friend to Kristopher, Jean, Judy, Billy and Petra. Kaye loved to keep busy gardening and all things antique, especially her
miniatures and Frankoma pottery collections. She enjoyed selling her unique finds and sharing her vibrant spirit with everyone around her. Her selfless nature, positivity, and laughter will always be remembered by those who were lucky to have known her.
Kaye’s gentle mother Violet was waiting for her with the open wings of an angel. We will desperately miss her.
