Kathy attended schools in Southern California and moved to Vacaville in 1961. She worked at the Nut Tree restaurant as a waitress for 20 years. Her career spanned over 30 years in the food industry and was very proud of her work and loved serving her customers.
Kathy was a hobbyist who dabbled in many crafts; knitting, crocheting, beading, but sewing was her specialty. She loved arranging flowers, even spent time working at a local florist for a few years. She and Fred had passion for raising parakeets, a hobby they enjoyed together. However, her cats delighted her most. If there was a cat within a mile, it found its way to her porch and would soon be her feline friend for life. Kathy loved her cats.
