Obituary for Kathleen (Kathy) Jane Webber
Kathleen (Kathy) Jane Webber, 53, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 29, at her home in Vacaville. Kathy was born in Inglewood, CA on Aug. 29, 1961 to Ralph and Betty Killmeyer. A tomboy at heart, she spent her young days riding bikes and playing at the beach. She was the captain of her high school flag team and met the love of her life, John Webber, while working at McDonalds her senior year. Kathy was incredibly dedicated to her family and her community. From working at the Boys and Girls Club to volunteering at Cambridge Elementary School, Kathy's profound love of children and abundant selflessness was evident to all those who knew her. She could always be found at the local softball/baseball fields, cheering on her daughter and two sons, or at home hosting her children's friends. Kathy is survived by her husband, John and their children, Jackie (husband Jerad and son Emmett), Johnny (partner Lauren), and Robby. Additionally, she is survived by her father, Ralph; siblings, Diane, Irene, and Keith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and community members are invited to a celebration of her life at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 7, at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St. in Vacaville. To honor Kathy's bright, cheerful outlook on life, colorful clothing is requested. Donations in her memoriam may be made to the Boys and Girls Club, where she dedicated much of her time and love throughout the years, www.bgca.org/donate.
