Obituary for Katharine 'Kitty' Hirshberg
Kitty (Semple) Hirschberg passed away on Aug. 5, after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill; her daughters and sins-in-law, Kalo Heidt (Lee) and Ellen Geier (Jim); four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was a life long resident of Greenwich, Connecticut and lived at Paradise Valley the last two years. She taught pre-school and was a voulunteer for Meals in Wheels. Kitty worked at the Greenwich Hospital gift shop for over forty years. She was an avid golfer and loved gardening. She will long be remembered for the beautiful needlework that she made for family and friends. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NorthBay Hospice.
