Obituary for Julienne Jacobs
Julienne Jacobs, 70, of Vacaville passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at her home in Vacaville. She was born on Oct. 13, 1940 in Washington D.C.Julie worked as a Real Estate Agent for Cornish & Carey in Palo Alto retiring after 25 years. Julie was active in numerous support groups and charities. She did not believe anyone was a stranger and was always available to help those in need or who needed a shoulder to lean on. She also had a special love of the community\'s four legged friends and cheerfully volunteered at various animal shelters. Julie found great joy in enthusiastically cheering on her grandchildren in their various sports and activities.Julie is survived by her husband, Stephen Baltikauskas, Sr. of 9 years; daughter and sons-in-law, Holly and Kirk Kramer of Vacaville, Calif., Shelley Gerard and Robin Bailey of Billings, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katherine Crawley of Orlando, Fla., Lissa and Rich Botsko of Lady Lake, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kyla Hailstone, Jacob Kramer, and Michael Kramer; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Zeig, Madison Bach, and Taya Hailstone; stepson and spouse, Stephen and Sharisse Baltikauskas, of Folsom, Calif.; step grandchildren, Jarrod and Spenser Baltikauskas; nieces and nephews, Royce LoBianco, Lissante LoBianco, and Laura Thatcher. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. Powell and Louise Hill Powell of Washington D.C.A loving mother, grandmother, sister, spouse, aunt, and supportive friend to all she met. She will be truly missed. The world is a bit dimmer and duller without her presence here, but we rejoice that she now walks in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 4 - 7 p.m. with a rosary at 6pm at McCune Garden Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1781 Marshall Rd, in Vacaville, CA 707-447-2354. Celebration of Life will be announced at service.
