Obituary for Joseph Tarantino
Joseph A. Tarantino was born Feb. 2, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. He passed away in Vacaville on Oct. 24 from a long illness with his family by his side. Joe was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He worked for RCA for 32 years. His family came first. He was known by friends and peers for his fairness and kindness. The holidays were always special and he truly enjoyed being with his family and friends. Joe you will be greatly missed! He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mary, son Steven, daughter Christine and son-in-law Pete Trockey; grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Melissa (Taai), and great grandson D.J. A special thank you to Lisa Westfall who lovingly cared for Joe for several years. Thanks to NorthBay Hospice for your dedicated staff and VacaValley Hospital. A funeral with Military honors on Nov 2 at 2:00 PM at McCune Chapel, conducted by Father Vincent O'Reilly. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to NorthBay Hospice.
