Obituary for Joseph Anthony LoBue
Joseph Anthony LoBue Resident of Fairfield California July 3, 1955 - January 25, 2018
Joseph Anthony LoBue was a true example of living life to the fullest and loving everyone unconditionally. He brought so many people together and created community wherever he went. Joseph passed away peacefully January 25th, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer.
Joseph Anthony LoBue grew up in South Gate, California and attended Pius the 10th High School, then traveled up to Northern California where he attended San Francisco State University with an emphasis on Film Production, then graduated from John F. Kennedy University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Transpersonal Psychology. Always interested in the deeper meaning of life Joe was always eager to listen to new philosophies and create authentic connections wherever he went.
Joe was Vice President of Field Services at Wine Shop At Home for 13 years and had over 20 years of experience as a sales executive. He joined the company in 2004, overseeing the Company’s Customer Care Center. Joe personally presented many in-home Wine Tastings in order to fully understand the wine tasting experience and pass on his knowledge to nurture new Independent Wine Consultants as they built their businesses. Joe was promoted to the role of Vice President of Field Development in 2011, providing the Company’s sales field with leadership, training, incentive programs and ongoing sales support. Joe traveled the country to promote WineShop At Home’s career opportunity and to promote growth for the Independent Wine Consultant’s individual businesses and teams.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Donna LoBue, devoted children Natalie LoBue of Oakland, Jay Myers of Oakland, and Paul Myers and his wife Erica of Sacramento, and grandchildren Paige Myers, Hajin Myers, Lauren Hoyt, and Caden Hoyt, two sisters Kathy and Theresa, two brothers Larry and Paul, his father Mario, and countless friends. An honest gem that will live on in our hearts and memories.
