Obituary for Johnny M. Salazar
Johnny M Salazar, 55, of Vacaville passed away after a brief illness in Vacaville on Saturday, Dec. 26. He was born on Jan. 23, 1954, in Fairfield. Johnny was the owner of Salazar Hair Salon. He loved his dogs (Abbey, Baby, Bubba, and Poppy). He also loved his music. Johnny was preceded in death by his partner, Jerry Beers; brothers, Carlos Cueva, Joe Cueva and Peter Cueva; grandparents, Miguel and Elena Salazar. He is survived by his mother, Mary Salazar-Gonzalez; stepfather, Jesus Gonzalez; brother, Mark Cueva; sisters, Helen Cueva, Rosemary Cueva and Margarita Posedel. He also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., both at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are preferred to funeral home (McCune Garden Chapel) 212 Main St., Vacaville, Calif., 95688.
