Obituary for Johnnie Loyal Williams
Johnnie L. Williams was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Matthew and Monwilla Williams. He served in the US Air Force in Accounting and Finance for 26 years. While stationed in Japan, he met Yasue Hayakawa, his wife of 62 years. They had three children, Monwilla, Denise, and Johnnie Jr. After retirement from the Air Force, Johnnie was called to preach. On June 13, 1975, Curry Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church was founded in Vacaville with Johnnie L. Williams as Pastor. There he served for thirty four years. He also worked as a Systems Analyst at Alameda Naval Air Station for 16 years. The quiet hour will be Monday, April 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. with funeral service on Tuesday April 12, at 10:30 a.m., both held at McCune Garden Chapel. We thank everyone who cared, shared, and made his life so wonderful.
