Obituary for Joanna Evelyn Whitley
Joanna Evelyn Whitley passed away on February 19 in Woodland, CA at the age of 93.
Evelyn, to her family and friends, was born in Arcola, Missouri, the 5th of 6 children of Gertie and Lucian Crutcher. Evelyn was a 55 year resident of Dixon. She was a member of the Golden Rod Chapter of the Eastern Star. She retired from the University of California, Davis after 25 years of employment.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Alvin in 2002. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Sylvia of Woodland, and lovingly known as “Bo” to her granddaughter Taylor of Woodland and grandson Carson (Sarah) of Berlin Germany.

No memorial service will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dixon United Methodist Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
