Obituary for JoAnn (Whitt) Weber
JoAnn (Whitt) Weber was brought home by her Lord and Savior on Nov. 20, 2012, five months after being diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. JoAnn was born on Aug. 28, 1932, in Los Angeles. After much traveling with her evangelist parents, Roy and Nora, she graduated from Vallejo High School. In 1970, she settled on a 10-acre ranch in Fairfield to raise her family, before moving to Dixon in 2004. JoAnn loved God, family and friends, gardening and reading. She loved her Valley Church congregation, her best friend Peggy, Pastors Raleigh and Jeremy, and all her Bible Study sisters. She often exclaimed, 'We are so Blessed!' JoAnn was an extraordinary gracious woman with a special gift to pour out love and joy on all. JoAnn is survived by her beloved husband, Larry; and their children, Karen, Nancy, Brian, Scott, Linda, Vickie and Barbie; and her brother, David. In lieu of flowers, JoAnn requested donations be sent to NorthBay Hospice. A special thanks to hospice aide Janet.
Service: A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
